Gasteig HP8 is Munich’s new center for culture, education, and encounter – lively, diverse, and open to all.
Since autumn 2021, the Gasteig’s temporary home has been located next to the Süd heating plant, just upstream on the premises of the Munich public utility company (Stadtwerke München).
Here, what has always defined the Gasteig continues: a place for concerts, film festivals, readings, exhibitions, language courses, and much more.
Whether you’re dropping by spontaneously to browse, to learn, or coming with a specific cultural purpose – Gasteig HP8 offers space for inspiration, exchange, and unexpected experiences.
Gasteig HP8 is also a venue for KINO ASYL, made possible through cooperation with the Munich City Library.
Hans-Preißinger-Straße 8, 81379 München
