KINO ASYL is a unique space for artistic impressions and the personal stories of people with refugee backgrounds who present films from their home countries. This year as well, the colorful festival program featured films from around the world, offering audiences special insights into different countries and cultures.
In addition to a wide range of films — including series, documentaries, feature films, and experimental works — the festival offered audiences the opportunity to explore diverse regions, ways of life, and perspectives. Through post-screening discussions with the curators, visitors were also invited to engage in personal dialogue, gain deeper background insights, and reflect on the themes presented.
