Once again this year, the festival featured a vibrant film program with films from all over the world. The selections were chosen and curated by young adults with refugee backgrounds. This gave the audience insight not only into the film culture of each country, but also behind the scenes. The films are like life itself: sometimes funny, sometimes moving — and always thought-provoking. This year, the festival took place entirely online: The opening ceremony, all films with introductions, Q&As, the children’s program, and the exhibition were all available to stream online.
