My name is Miran Ahmad and I come from Syria. I have been part of KINO ASYL since last year (2019) because it is a bridge that connects many different cultures.
The film shows a brief glimpse into the reality of a family in the middle of the war. The entire situation is reflected through the eyes of a child.
With this film, the director speaks for many refugees who are full of hope for a better life. To escape the bitter reality, they set out on a journey to Europe by crossing the sea. However, many of them have become victims of drowning.
