From December 2 to 7, we invite you to join us on a special journey — one that begins with Senegambian reggae. Along the way, we will show you exciting films and give you the chance to get to know us and our cultures better. You’ll learn why we came to Germany and why it’s important for us to take you along on this journey.
We are very grateful that KINO ASYL exists. For us, this project started much earlier — we began planning at the beginning of the year. KINO ASYL helps us improve our language skills, meet new people, and learn more about the possibilities of digital media.
In our new home, Germany, we’ve had many experiences — some wonderful, others difficult. One of the most positive ones has definitely been KINO ASYL, which brings together people from all over the world.
We are grateful for the opportunity we have here — to support one another and grow together as we settle into our new lives. Each of us brings our own story and past with us — and that’s what makes us who we are today.
With our festival, we aim to contribute to intercultural understanding. KINO ASYL provides a platform that offers insight into the culture and everyday life of other countries, sparking reflection, dialogue, and discussion. It brings us great joy to use this opportunity to introduce ourselves and connect with you.
