Hello everyone! My name is Veronika and this is my second year with Kino Asyl. I came to Germany from Ukraine a year ago. It’s a new chapter in my life. Last year, I met people from other countries and got to know different problems and understand what others might feel in those situations. I completed my bachelor’s degree in theater and stage directing and am still searching for myself. I hope that Kino Asyl is part of this process.
My daughter and I are very grateful to Germany for everything. With my screenplay, I wanted to show war through the eyes of a child who perceives everything differently, as well as the great hopes of this little girl.
