I am someone who holds her home deep inside me, even if I am far away from home. I left my home, but my home didn’t leave me. What is important for me is the memory, the culture, the identity and the freedom to belong to more than one place. Everyone is at Kino Asyl for the same reason: to give a story a platform. You could say: different rivers flow into the same ocean. Maybe the story wouldn’t have been heard by as many people without Kino Asyl.
