Omar
Hello! My name is Omar. I am a mathematician, programmer, and electrical engineer from Yemen, currently living in Munich, Germany. I am passionate about science, technology, and cinema, and I believe films are a powerful way to connect people across cultures and share experiences.
What is most important to me is mutual respect, cultural exchange, and learning from one another. Every community has unique stories, and I believe listening to them helps build understanding and empathy.
For me, Kino Asyl is more than a film festival. It is a place where people from different backgrounds come together through cinema, discover new perspectives, and engage in meaningful conversations. I am grateful to be part of a project that gives participants the opportunity to share their culture and personal stories. I hope my contribution encourages people to see Yemen from a different perspective and inspires curiosity, dialogue, and connection.
