My film is yout my life, my experiences and the things I have been through. I want to share my story because I know there are people who my feel alone or hopeless. I want them to see that no matter hard life becomes, we can still find the strength to stand again.

I am Hanilla, a woman from Uganda with a story full of struggles, hope and faith. Life has taken me through difficult moments, but I have always tried to keep going and believe that better days will come. I am part of Kino Asyl because it gives me a place to share my story, my culture and my experiences. But for me, Kino Asyl is more than just films. I have met kind people there who make me feel welcomed, supported and understood. I fell like I have found a little family here and that means a lot to me
