We present — also for the first time translated into German — the final episode of the very popular Syrian TV series “Four Seasons.” It was first broadcast in 2002 and has been frequently repeated since. The series focuses on the everyday life of a family from Damascus and the familial bonds among its members. The family consists of the father Karim, the mother Nabila, and the aunt Jamila and her five daughters (one of whom has already passed away). The four daughters live in different circumstances, which is why the series is named “Four Seasons.”

My favorite series! I’ve known it since my childhood and the topics it deals with are just as relevant now as they were in 2002. The opening music by Vivaldi also impressed me a lot.
