I am Anastasia Nizamova, an up-and-coming film direction from the Ukraine. I have been in Germany since 2022 and I always wonder if this country could become my second home. At Kino Asyl, I have met people who are going through similar „integration journeys“ and who feel homesick. It is very valuable to get the opportunity to share these feelings with others and to talk about one’s own homeland and culture through films.
