I’m Masume. I come from Afghanistan but was raised in Iran. I have been part of Kino Asyl for three years and I’m really looking forward to it. That’s why I want to continue. At Kino Asyl, we don’t just show films about refugees — we are also like a family that enjoys sharing and connecting with each other.
“In our documentary, we focus on the Hazara people in Afghanistan. The Hazara are a large ethnic group that has faced discrimination and genocide for many years. This film portrays just one of the genocides they have been subjected to.”
