Hello, ich heiße Saereh Sharifi. I come from Afghanistan, but I was born and raised in Iran. Nevertheless, I’ve been aware and have witnessed the struggles of afghan women. That is why their stories and their situation are especially important to me. For me, cinema is more than just entertainment. It can move us, make us think and spark conversations. That is exactly what I hope to achieve with Kino Asyl.
