My name is Sayed Samim Mahbubi and this is my first year with KINO ASYL. I’m part of KINO ASYL because I love learning about different traditions and it gives me the opportunity to work with people from various countries.
The short film shows Samira, a young woman from a village in Afghanistan, on her first date in London. There she meets an Afghan man who was born in London. Although they share the same culture, they were raised very differently.
