AYHAM

“My name is Ayham. I am 18 years old I was born in Aleppo in Syria and have been living close to Rosenheim for about one year. I am very happy to be part of KINO ASYL. It’s a great opportunity to share, that not long ago the Syrian people lived a peaceful life with standards close to western countries. The Syrian people would like to continue living peacefully and hopefully some time also within Syria.

With وبعدا...؟! (Then what?!) I want to show you how violence and war destroyed life and love in my country.

The series ضيعة ضايعة (The lost village) is well loved and known in Syria. So loved that it is giving  life to people living in Germany. I will also like to show with this combination of series not only movies but also how refugees in Germany live. How the two refugees followed their dreams to make movies through The lost village without giving up – with little equipment and very difficult circumstances and production work.”

France/Paris is also very important in the remake of the series, produced by two syrian refugees, living in Germany. Due ot he attacks in Paris there are major missunderstandings between the two neighbours – who envy each other, like always.
